A girl and her kangaroo,18 of 30 paintings

I tried my just go quick painting thing again today.
Sometimes it works,sometimes it doesn’t.
And that’s okay I think. I had this image of my niece,Claudia when she was little and I really wanted to paint something based in it. (Because she’s adorable, obviously.)

It’s not what I wanted but
I have plans to try again. This is painting number 18 and I’m linking it to Leslie Saeta’s 30 paintings,30 dats.:)

Smile,12 of #29faces ,30paintings

Today I worked in my art journal. It’s an old psychology textbook that I repurposed ages ago. I took out a lot of pages out when I first prepped it but these types of books have a lot of pages in them and so this one is taking me a long time to get through. I don’t always work in my journals but when I do it’s a really fun experience for me. Art journals for me are either there so that you can try something new or there to be used as a diary. Diary type art journals don’t typically get shared online. I’ve joined a group full of people who also like to art journal. The group was put together by Nicci Battilana. You can find her here.
And this page was inspired by her very awesome face image that was offered to be printed or free drawn in our journals. I few drew mine.

I’m using this as face number 12 of my 29 faces and 30 paintings. 🙂

Linking to Leslie Saeta’s 30 paintings,30 days.

And Ayala Art’s 29 faces challenge. And here’s hoping to get another one done today as I’m a teensy bit behind….
