Back when I participated in the headdress challenge for Altered Pages I thought I might be a fairy this year for Halloween. The idea stuck with me though I also thought about being a walking sugar skull and for a second a social butterfly.
I came back to a fairy in the end.
But because I also wanted to have a kind of funny costume I went with a different type of fairy than I first thought of.
I dressed up as a Clean fairy. (I thought my hair would be more authentically clean fairyish if I wore it up but my husband begged me to leave it down.Bah, I listen to him sometimes.)
I’m not the most naturally clean person in creation so this was a funny costume for me. (My husband certainly laughed about it anyway. Our family has a long running joke about the clean fairy kind of being a slacker. )I have been trying Habithacker though so I’m getting a little better and now I can actually work on creating stuff without the nagging thoughts of unfinished laundry pestering me.

I’m linking this up over at Natasha May’s Halloween party. It’s going on until November the fourth so I hope you stop by and link up, the more the merrier right? :)

That’s too funny! You rocked it out though, Lydia. I can relate to the irony of being the Clean Fairy. She certainly is a slacker at my house
Ha! Thank you…I’m happy to know you are a kindred spirit Angelia.
Lol! I wouldn’t mind a cleaning fairy to come to my home.
Great costume! Thanks for coming to my party.
Thank you Natasha! Thank you for hosting a great party too
You look fab Lydia!! We don’t even have a clean fairy at our house lol, I really must get one!!
Aw thank you
No worries about not having one yet, they’re pretty fickle creatures that come and go as they please
Clean freaks are highly overrated!
Lol,no worries, I am in no danger of becoming a clean freak…at this point I just want my laundry put away sometime before I’m having to wash that load of laundry again.
